We had an old Rosle food grinder (older but same model) from Williams and Sonoma which I think we bought when it came out was still in Germany made and we had to replace our 0.2cm when we bend them. This replacement worked well.

I bought this disc with the idea of making spaetzle. This was the first thing I used it for and it worked great. Last time I made plum jam and had to puree the fruit a bit. I halved the plums, removed the pits and passed them through this disc. Almost all of the peel remained in the food mill, and the fruit was given the perfect consistency for jam.
