Durable and reliable towing accessory

This shackle is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast looking for a reliable towing accessory. The build quality is impressive and it's designed to withstand heavy towing loads... The shackle is easy to install and fits perfectly with the Colorado Canyon. The only downside is that it requires a bit of maintenance to keep it in top condition, but it's a small inconvenience compared to its benefits..

Pros
  • Durable, reliable, easy to install, fits perfectly with the Colorado Canyon.
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance.

Doesn't work properly n GMC Canyon

Installation on the Canyon was easy. After buttoning everything up, I went to install the shackle. It's just a regular WARN bracket, nothing special. I found out that the Canyon has a "hole" in the bumper that the cotter pin can't go through. Yes, I've tried both directions and every other combination. I called Rough Country support and they consulted with their R&D team who advised you to detach the brace from the frame to install the brace and then bolt it to the frame. It's not very useful…

Pros
  • Towing items and winches
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
