Quality issues are best in Peeler's

that worked well enough for its intended purpose. While the listing was for 4, our package only included 2. As mentioned, the "blades" part isn't as big or sharp as I would like. It works quite well with oranges and thin-skinned citrus fruits, but things like grapefruit still require a knife.

Pros
  • , I don't even remember the old
Cons

CUSTOM QUALITY

This is a smaller, cheaper imitation of the top two I bought at the hardware store. They were shipped from China. If you have a thin orange peel, a cutter will do. But if it's thick skin, the cutter isn't long/deep enough to easily remove the orange peel. You have to use a knife and still not happy. Also, the front end tends to dig into the orange peel and slow you down.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great White Elephant gift!

Bad design. Doesn't peel the fruit very well as the blade protrusion is too short and the finger holder doesn't match the lever. I have an old paring knife (different brand) with a longer handle that gives more leverage when peeling with a clean cut and an easy peel. I've moved and couldn't find my old vegetable cutter. I recently found my old knife and use it all the time! I love using my old potato peeler! I will gift my latest purchase to a white elephant! It's not worth it!

  • Nice packaging

Existing bliss in the kitchen and dining room

Orange peeler. The final frontier in the Epicurean quest for citrus perfection. I saw an ad for this product while browsing the insides of Revain's best kitchen tools and knew immediately they were a must-have for my kitchen tool collection. Has my citrus consumption increased significantly? You tell me. Do you like tearing pieces of orange peel between your fingerprints in the early hours of a gloomy night? I certainly don't, and this product has shed an inexplicable light on my mundane and…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Simple but effective

I love these orange peelers. I bought a lot for myself, for work and for home. I used a long stick and of course tried to get through without a knife. Never a fun prospect. They work so well and are very small and compact. Peeling mandarins, oranges, clementines and tangelos. I use them almost every day and really support this product. The only recommendation I can give is to make them any color other than orange as I've left them in the bowl with the peels on a number of occasions (I love…
