Package of 4 Round Open Screen Vent - Mill - 3 Inch Review

Item measures exactly 3 inches as described. Unfortunately, this is how we drilled holes in my house. Therefore, the insertion was somewhat problematic. But one day they are just right!

I needed nets to prevent insects and birds from nesting in the inlets and outlets (3" PVC) of my water heater. It turned out to be the right ticket I don't know what the airflow reduction is, but it seems minimal.

Turns out I won't be using them on this project because the 3 inch PVC has a cap that reduces its inner diameter , so I'm probably just buying a 1/16" screen, trimming it, and sealing it in place. That means the pipe is hidden under a cover and sits 20 feet off the ground, allowing it to be functional without worrying about aesthetics. But it was a great price and I will use them in the future.

We've had problems with those pesky yellow-shelled hornets getting into the outer tube and trying to nest here. We spoke to our installer and he suggested we buy them. Tried it at a local store, out of stock. They were with the seller Revain. Fits perfectly, no more problems with those pests. The air flow is not blocked. A great permanent solution to a problem that can lead to those pesky yellow-skinned hornets infiltrating our heating system and eventually our home.
