Rox Speed FX Handlebar 1R P2SS Review

I just installed it on my 2018 KLR 650. The bike was ok but now it's much better. I feel like I have a lot more control and feel a lot more comfortable, I'm 6ft 2,240lbs. The very simple installation took me about 20 minutes and then it took a little longer to set up the controls. No cable issues but I hit the screen at almost full rotation but I have a fix for that. High quality material, I chose the black part #1R-P2SS. Highly recommended!

These ROX handlebar risers are a great product. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The amount of customization these risers offer is great. You can position the handlebars closer to you or further away if you have long arms. They gave me a much higher level of comfort on my 2015 Honda NC700X. The reason I bought them was mainly because I had a set of Storm Barkbusters on my bike and I had to move the handlebars back because the Barkbusters would hit the windshield when the handlebars were turned

This riser raises the bars about two inches and I moved the bars forward a half inch. I didn't get past half an inch because on a full right turn you barely touch the left edge of the windshield with your left handguard. The right hand wiring harness had two zip ties holding it to the handlebars. To get some slack I cut a zip tie and this is indicated by the yellow arrow where it was before and the yellow dashes on the handlebar. I added these to my 2nd gen KLR 650 and they greatly improved the ergonomics. Because the stock handlebar mounts are angled, I can't use more "normal" risers that are just spacers. I wanted to go up without additional rollback and this allowed me to do so. On my KLR, all the cables, hoses and wires came out with no further modifications other than removing one of the retaining clips to give a little slack. Now my hands and arms are very relaxed, steering on the road doesn't feel much different…
