Review on Rox Speed FX Handlebar 1R P2SS by Aaron Ethridge

I added these to my 2nd gen KLR 650 and they greatly improved the ergonomics. Because the stock handlebar mounts are angled, I can't use more "normal" risers that are just spacers. I wanted to go up without additional rollback and this allowed me to do so. On my KLR, all the cables, hoses and wires came out with no further modifications other than removing one of the retaining clips to give a little slack. Now my hands and arms are very relaxed, steering on the road doesn't feel much different and I don't have to bend down to get up. It also gave me the fairing clearance I needed to install the handguard. The instructions were very clear and gave me a good idea of how to install when I don't have easy access to the top screws. Now they seem completely solid and the black blends into my bars and clamps so you don't realize they're there just by looking at them.
