I love this brush set. These brushes are of good quality. I only need them for the watercolor classes for teens and young adults. They are made for students, not inferior brushes. They hold water well and have a good tip. I will order more in the future if I need them.

I really like these brushes. They are aimed at children, but for me, a 42-year-old watercolourist, they are perfect. I love the handles, the quality of the bristles and how they hold onto cold-pressed serrated watercolor paper, and the amount of paint and water the bristles (greedy brushes!), even the smallest ones, hold. The handles are VERY short so if you like long handled brushes you won't like these but I LOVE them and will be buying more Royal brushes soon!

Not bad brushes for the price. Although they are intended for children, they are still basically brushes that anyone of any age can use. The quality of these brushes is better than the regular brushes I usually find in dollar stores and while they may not be professional quality brushes they still have a good spring and don't shed.
