This easel adjusts to accommodate pads and boards from 7-inch to 32-inch high. Features 3 independent adjustable legs (17-inch to 46-inch). Allowing you to easily use it on uneven surfaces as well as in cramped quarters. Canvas can be lowered as low as 30-inch from the floor, making it great for kids. Easel measures approximately 62-inch by 41-inch by 28-inch with its own carry case and 4-inch by 24-inch by 3-inch when folded. Perfect for home studio and plein air painting. Super lightweight (2 lbs.) yet rugged tubular aluminum construction and comes packed in a quality zippered nylon bag with shoulder strap. Telescoping legs with twist lock mechanisms provide sturdy and secure support. Holds canvases up to 32" high. Stands 72" tall when full extended yet compact enough to be used as a tabletop easel.

Ideal for drawing classes and home use.

Best gift for yourself. One thing I really like is I can make the back leg very short and the two front legs long to fit my painting putting it on the table in art class but still being able to hold it lower than if I had an easel. completely on the table. This item is very lightweight but feels very durable making it so easy to grab and carry to class in a small bag. In fact, I like this easel better than the desk easel I have because it's so much easier to maneuver, store, set up, and use. If

I needed a portable easel for an international art tour.

I needed a portable easel for an international art trip to Portugal and although I have two I thought they were too heavy to meet the luggage weight restrictions (it had to be light and fit in my Room fit ) case). Nothing local fit the bill so I took the risk of ordering through Amazon. I hit the jackpot with this easel, it was as described and exceeded my expectations. You want the painting to be an object you enjoy looking at

I bought three of these easels to use for display purposes only. They run smoothly, well designed, beautiful, very light, very compact to store. They make it a little easier to mount picture frames securely, but if you're careful and make adjustments, it's not a problem. If they were all black, they would be less noticeable.
