Beautiful colors that do not fade and have a pleasant brightness.

Beautiful colors that don't fade and have a pleasant luminosity. Impressed by the variety of colors and how little you actually have to use to get the colors you want. A great set for beginners and even artists.

Royal & Langnickel Watercolor Artist Tube

Unfortunately my experience with this watercolor was less than desirable due to the pigment peeling off on wet-on-wet and other projects. Instead of getting smooth watermarks, I encountered grainy and grainy patterns, and when it dried it didn't match my college project. I was very disappointed.

Wet-on-wet worked for me

After seeing reviews that mentioned pigment granulation using the wet-on-wet technique, I was hesitant to buy it, but because of the price and the amount of color I had to try. done wet on wet more than a few times (Prussian Blue, Pale Yellow, Crimson, Phthalocyanine Green) and the only time I got a grainy pigment deposit was when I didn't mix the color on the palette first. For experimentation I used the smooth side of Canson XL 140lb watercolor paper. :)

I go to a class called "Watercolor Adventures" and bought them because they had most of the colors I needed. The first task was great - just some simple brush practice. However, I could not complete the class assignment because the colors were of very poor quality. I had the joy of having the whole class gather around my painting while the teacher tried to help but couldn't. You have to do the task again at home after buying new paints. Wasted day and wasted expensive watercolor paper. (See my…

I received a set of 24 colors. They appear to be beautiful flowers. The color list for the 24 pack in the product description is incorrect. The color list for the 18 pack is also incorrect. The color listings for 6 and 12 pack look correct but I'm not sure. Here are the colors I received in packs of 24, by tube label and in the order I found them in the pack. Set of 24 colors: white, lemon yellow, light yellow, orange yellow, orange yellow, light red, raspberry red, purple, violet, light green,

Good colors but mold problems make using this paint troublesome

I ordered these paints for use at home and in the community center art class. Most colors have a pleasant color; however, some face difficulties. After a day without a tube, I noticed that the pigments and materials in the green juice were beginning to separate. They come back together after vigorous brushing, but this makes it difficult to see the true color right away. After a few months I noticed mold growth in pale green, lush green, lemon yellow, gamboge, orange yellow and ocher yellow…
