Thick yarn that won't cut into flesh

Finely crafted yarn that really works in the kitchen. This twine is perfect for tying roasts and turkeys without cutting through the meat.

Very happy with food processor parts and accessories

We are very picky if not picky about what we eat and/or allow those things to come in contact with our food. If the DC rumors make any sense, then our beef consumption will soon be curtailed. So I figured I'd pick up my steak and wrap the fillet in thick-cut bacon. Wow! This cord is easy to use. I am very happy with the product and the end result. It was good food!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Good to have in the kitchen

I can say that as always I have had a good buying experience with Revain. The product was as stated and arrived on time. But I'm learning to cook and I've learned that roasting chicken is an A$$ pain compared to buying grilled chicken at the grocery store. Maybe someday I'll find a great spice recipe worth trying. I'm still glad I have it so I can move forward with other things that require rope.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • No instructions

Perfection in farming tools.

I can't say I've ever used kitchen silk before so I have no comparison. However, when the recipe called for Chicken Tie a few months ago, I knew I was in for a worthwhile experience after consulting good old Google. (After trying the no-string method, I quickly decided it was time to invest in a rope.) Couldn't find this guy at any store near me and decided to avoid anything that wasn't his intended use in the kitchen mentioned in case of possible fire hazard. Jumped on Prime and ordered enough

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Obsolete model

This is a high quality cotton thread. No fraying or "pull" like some types, especially cheap dollar store items. Ties well, ties easily, and stays tied when pulled or heated. , even used it for household items outside of the kitchen. Great string for a good price. I have a Revain Prime membership, so I don't pay shipping. For the price, if you have to pay for shipping you could probably beat the price by going to a grocery store. Suppose you are willing to go to the store to save on shipping.

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • The list is long.

It's good to be tight

I paid 5.76. Absolutely does exactly what it says/states. I don't know what one reviewer says about re:made in China - mine clearly states it was made in America. I've used it to tie up a chicken, a couple of chickens (I know they're just immature chickens really) and a roast pork! In all cases it worked great. I can't say more about the strings! :) Did not go under strong tension, did not burn out and did not burn in the oven. I'm not a chef (professional or not) just a regular Joe who needed…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Everything is great
