I've been looking for a great set of stainless steel salt and pepper shakers for a long time. I wanted one that wouldn't break and last a lot. These are the best! I love them so much I bought my daughter and sister in law a set for Christmas. You love her too. I highly recommend them.

The salt shaker lid almost didn't unscrew, I couldn't take it off! I will return them if I still have the box. The metal is so thin that it is difficult to open the lid and the salt gets caught in the threads making it almost impossible if not impossible to remove the salt shaker lid.

I bought these in 2015 and I really like them. They last a lot and don't need to be refilled often. I had no problems opening the lid. You just need to have a good, strong grip in your hand. I will buy a pair for each of my kids to have in the kitchen. They remain for life and can be passed on to children.

NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS SCREW ON THE TOP. IF THEY ARE TIGHTENED TOO STRONG YOU ALMOST CANNOT REMOVE THEM AND NATURALLY TOO LOOSE AND YOU HAVE THAT YOUR COOKING IS FULL OF SALT OR PEPPER. I HAD TO GET WD 40 ON THE OUTER SCREW RINGS TO GET THEM SMOOTH AND EVERY TIME I USE HOLD THE TOP SO THE SHIELD DON'T FALL INTO THE FOOD. SO I CAN'T SAY THAT I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. I HAVE TO ADD, MY ARTHRITIS IS VERY BAD IN MY HANDS BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE THAT HARD TO SCREW AND REMOVE AND STAY.

Shakers are great - for one time. Once the lids are closed, they get stuck. I have tried to remove them with every means at my disposal. Unfortunately I don't have a vice - maybe they'll fit. The threads cross very easily (one of them) and even if they don't cross, they get stuck and cannot be removed. They're great until you have to remove the lid and then the flimsy threads make the lid almost impossible to remove. We love this style, but will look elsewhere for a replacement that allows you…

The metal they are made from is so thin that the handles will cut into the skin when in use. I don't know why, but the grooves for attaching the lid (screw) are so small that I can't attach them properly. Now they are crooked, and I've tried, erased, and tried a few more times. I'm always a bit afraid of the lids falling off and ruining dinner, so I keep a finger on the lid to prevent that.
