One more about the moments "where you've been all my life"! After reading the previous reviews I decided to give it a try. What a great tool! I use it for small to medium sized jalapenos and banana peppers. Sooo much easier than a knife. Smooth and fast operation.

This pepper remover worked so well with jalapenos that I bought one for each of my two daughters. The ease and thoroughness in removing all the seeds and the placenta (the white matter the seeds attach to) was amazing. Ideal if you want to bake stuffed jalapenos. I haven't used the Jalapeño Corer since I bought it.

I bought this to core and seed peppers for pickling and canning. That works great. Simply cut off a thin piece of the tip (stem) and insert this tool into the slot between the pepper and the core. Turn it over and take out the pit and seeds. I've also tried it with peppers and it worked, but not as well as chili peppers, probably because it's a lot narrower than peppers. I am happy with this tool.
