They stack nicely on top of each other and save space. Although they are said to be dishwasher safe, I recommend hand washing them. The lids seemed harder to put on the containers when they were dishwasher safe. I didn't have that problem with the hand washed ones.

They didn't quite match my existing Rubbermaid Red lids - the plastic on them is less transparent and the lids are stiffer, but they are very similar and work well. They are the same length and width as cereal containers but are half the height and can be stacked. I stock many different types of flour and sugar and this is just the right size to store. They fit perfectly in my kitchen cabinets.

I use these in my pantry along with other sizes of similar containers. They easily fit in a bag of pasta or a large box of crackers. The lids fit well but are easy to put on and take off, they fold well and it's easy to see what's inside. These are the best storage containers I've found and I've tried many different ones. While slightly more expensive than most, their durability and suitability make them good value for money.

If necessary, wrap the instructions in laminate and keep them in the container. I live in the humid Deep South and these fillings get in the way of weevils, moths and sugar ants. A packet of my grains was contaminated when purchased, and the container safely "contained" it.

I have several of these containers. I use them in my pantry where I store everything from nuts, confectionery sugar, brown sugar, chocolate chips, instant oats, marshmallows and more. Everything stays fresh, even brown sugar stays soft. Everything I need for baking. Not crystal clear plastic, but you can see what's in each container. Easy to stack. I make a lot of homemade mixes (custard mixes, cake mixes, cupcake mixes) and need containers that are moisture resistant, easy to clean, and stack well on top of other containers. Rubbermaid is a product I always go to, their lids NEVER warp or break, they fit snugly, I can see through them so I know what's inside and the price was amazing - I've compared other major department stores that have their own product that looks like Rubbermaid, but don't be fooled, they don't look like Rubbermaid…
