It's hard to lift, but nothing gets wet.

Took two of these campsites in the rain and none got wet. Please note that if you have problems with your arms, the side handles make it very difficult to lift after loading.

  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Having trouble

Very weak plastic, chewed in 2 nights

The "virtually indestructible" claim on this line is a joke. The plastic it is made of is very destructible. I don't know why I bought the hype but after 2 nights outdoors the latch on this bin has been chewed by rodents and won't close. Use metal and avoid it.

Cheap! Broke in first month of use.

Don't buy. Used them for the first time for a week long summer camp. My son opened it to pack, closed it for the trip and did the opposite by the end of the week. I just used them again for a weekend trip and a handle on BOTH boxes broke and fell to the ground. We have promotional packers from the early 90's that are still in demand today. Both broke on second use. Find something else.

Great container. all weather.

This container is just what I needed. It's big and weatherproof. you buy one I currently use it to store the Makita LXT Rolling Tool Bag, the Makita Small Accessory Bag, and the CLC 30 Pocket Tool Bag. So far, not a single drop of water has penetrated, even when driving the truck in the rain and sitting under the rain.

Looks like junk - storage and organization

For what it's worth I have all three. The price didn't convince me at all. If I had seen it in a store I would not have paid more than 50€ for it. The capacity is big, but the 48-gallon tank in particular is pretty flimsy. The lid doesn't hold up, the walls are very thin, the latch looks like it's about to break, and there's a sharp edge on the inside that you could probably cut yourself with if you're not careful. Also, all three containers smell like they have cleaning supplies in them, but…

Large format for the rear of an SUV

Large format for the rear third row of a commuter car (see image). Used to store emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, jumper cables, washer fluid, blankets, etc. The trunk feels solid, is very light, has strong hinges and the latch closes firmly and also forms a handy handle for pulling out the box. to me in the back of the car. The interior of the trunk looks like it has been incorrectly demolded because some of the mold lugs are deformed, but that doesn't affect the interior volume or…

Two locks are required on both sides for attachment.

I bought 4 of these because they are strong enough and weather resistant to seal and don't have the sharp edges of cheap trash cans to cut yourself with when carrying them. A 1/4 inch padlock shackle will work for them. IMPORTANT: Do not buy long shackle locks as only a short shackle will do. (Long arms won't fit through the red clips on the lid.) I recommend the stainless steel Master Lock shackle for them. with 3/4" (19mm) shackle. (They are available from Revain in four packs for a good…
