These machine washable plastic measuring cups have embossed values and fold neatly. I've had a set for a year and there has been no loss of usability or quality. I like to keep my measuring spoons with the foods they "belong" with, and I keep 1 of these 1/2 measuring cups in both my oatmeal jars at work and at home, as well as other cups scattered in various storage containers.

I have had this set before and it has survived everything except being chewed on by our dog for years. I have other wider, lower measuring cups that seem to be the more common profile now, but with higher vertical sides, they measure contents more easily and the center of gravity is closer to the handle axis, making it easier to balance. full of liquid without spilling. The wide, recessed handle also improves stability.

These are plastic measuring cups. They're on a soft plastic ring that's pretty easy to take off, but they hold them up pretty well once they're on. I use them to measure the salt in my aquarium as they don't corrode and have also used them to store water and/or coral while they are moving. I haven't tested how easily they peel off, but I expect they'll be fine, there's nothing to suggest they'll stick to anything. That's all you can say about the set of measuring cups.

I bought measuring spoons and cups to have a complete set. Measuring spoons are in the shape of a spade, making it easy to quickly get the right amount without much effort in digging into the ingredients. I wish all measurement paraphernalia had this design. The wide handle offers a good grip. I ended up replacing the plastic ring that holds the measuring spoons together, but other than that this set is fantastic. Good quality at a great price!

I'm not sure if my two new sets will cause envy or stomach upset, but they aren't white (like other sets I've had in the past) and definitely have a greenish cast to them. These are good measuring cups. I like how they fit tightly together (they don't knock in the van). The short handle gives them strength. Thick, durable and well made. Plastic cups are lighter and quieter than stainless steel and I prefer them. So much radioactive metal now comes out of China that I avoid stainless steel unless I can confirm its origin. I bake a lot and have containers of various flours, cereals and dry ingredients. For convenience, I keep a measuring cup with each product. I use a measure for flour and even smaller for sugar, down to the smallest for powdered milk etc etc work. The measurements are accurate. The handles are strong and can withstand picking up dry ingredients. Nothing fancy here, just quality, useful, and inexpensive measuring cups.

If all the parts arrived I think this set would be a solid 4 stars. It's more durable plastic than what you'll find at discount stores. And as others have mentioned, the cup size is embossed on the plastic so it never goes away with use. However, when my set arrived, the 1/2 cup was missing - I only received 1/4, 1/3 and 1 glass.
