decoy tactics. Not Rubbermaid, not made in USA, not good.

Complete bait. This is not Rubbermaid and is not made in the USA. It is stamped "Made in Belgium". It's not a rubber scraper, it's "foam rubber" which is basically foam rubber. All metal edges are sharp and expect an accident.

Plow Snow Suitable for Scraper

This is to remove excess water from our new composite deck. I like the wide expanse. Not suitable for water as it was too "sticky" to the deck material. But it works great as a snow blower. You can even try it on the sidewalk in light snow instead of a blower. I drilled through the metal part and put in a small screw to hold the handle in place as the connection to the bar isn't very strong. Basically satisfied.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some Issues

The listing says it leaves no trace. The label on the product itself says it all. I bought this to rid my composite deck of water but don't want to damage it and now I'm having trouble returning the mop head, handle (not yet) and possibly an extra charge for a third item in the order. which is eligible for free shipping. It's frustrating.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • It's hard to tell

Not your average rubber scraper, and not in a good way.

I didn't understand the tire type in the description, which is partly my fault. However I have been using mops for years and never had a problem but this rubber is closer to a foam rubber which makes grit but not as easy to use. It wants to bounce when squeezed, which will let water through if you don't get the right angle. I'd rather get my good old rubber scraper back. Wouldn't buy again.

  • Worth the money

  • Everything is fine

Great screed for uneven floors in the garage

Last year we covered the floor in the garage with epoxy resin. We had the choice: smooth surface or slightly structured. I went with texture to minimize smoothness. I didn't think about the consequences of cleaning and drying at the time. After a harsh winter with lots of salt and mud spilled from cars, my pristine floor looked terrible. Once the weather got above freezing, I broke the pressure washer to clean up. This scraper, despite the textured epoxy, did an excellent job removing water…

Large and durable rubber blade

I've used single strip wipers (mostly larger versions of the ones you can use to clean windows or shower doors) in the past and they worked well but almost always left streaks or water drips here and there. This mop blade is much nicer than a single blade and the rubber is so thick it is difficult to leave a streak. You need a relatively thick handle to screw the blade on, but once you've done that there's nothing left in that squeegee. Ideal for cleaning basement and garage floors and large…

Obviously no logical thinking is required in production

The mop itself is rated for 5-6 uses, the flimsy 'metal' it is attached to is complete crap. Won't hold the handle I bought the recommended wooden handle. The clip mechanism wraps unevenly around the handle mount, resulting in a more oval mount, allowing the wiper to detach from the handle. To fix this I used a standard screw on hose clamp, but keep in mind that the original hose clamp needs to be cut off to do this as it is welded to the metal bracket. Interestingly, this weld was the…

Preferably. Rachel. Is always.

Soft foam perfectly removes liquids. Most I've used go bad with oil and I won't even consider squeegees, they're useless. Used at least once a week in a commercial auto shop and allows for quick floor cleaning. I recommend this pen: Rubbermaid Commercial FG636200 Tapered Polished Wood 60" Length Natural It's nice when you can just buy a quality product and be done with it. UPDATE: 9/30/2016 Finally the same stitch gave up. The metal is tired where the bracket attaches. The foam still held and…
