Tired of lame showers? Take it.

Tired of iterations of bathroom shower scrubbers, buy a real one. No, it's not as sexy as bathroom accessories. But in large showers or ones with large glass doors, this is a great tool. We use it every day. Removing hard water or soap deposits. Helps dry showers and grout. It takes 1-2 minutes to wash the shower. And inexpensive enough to replace when needed.

  • Household items
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Use on garage floor to remove melted snow

I recently added a HotDawg gas heater to my insulated garage so now the snow and ice on my cars is melting all over the garage floor. I use it to flush water down the drain. The floor slopes down to the drain. Essentially, but if large chunks of snow/ice fall, I just push them straight onto the drain so the rest of the floor can dry faster. Reduces humidity in the garage. I don't want my tools to rust.

Pros
  • Health and Home
Cons
  • Long time

Kennel management genius

Working with dogs. Kindergarten management is a routine job. Without the right tools it becomes difficult and very time consuming and labor intensive. Get it, it works. This reduces cleaning time by at least 50%. The amount of water it expels in one puff is ridiculous compared to other hard rubbers, and the drying time is . The floor is basically dry, a quick wipe with the mop and you're done. They won't last as long as the rubber ones and you have to be careful when using them but I will…

ideal for small spaces (UPDATED)

Small, inexpensive and perfectly working soft foam scraper. It has a dual-blade design that works reasonably well on wet, slick surfaces, but skips a bit if you're not applying force (or if the surface is dry). Drill a hole and screw this squeegee to the post. Rubbermaid makes their own branded version, but I bought a slightly cheaper stick from a local store. This mop works well for small amounts of water (considering it's only 1.5 feet wide). but in hindsight I should have gone a size up. If…
