I only need portions for one or two servings. These containers hold just enough for one or two people to serve. So when I'm making a main course or side dishes for the whole family, I use them to freeze small portions. Saves waste and I have a variety of appetizers and sides to choose from. No more boring leftovers - these are my "planned leftovers".

I love these containers! I've bought them many times in different sizes. I had cracks or chips around the edges after being in the freezer, but before that they lasted a long time. They don't discolor easily. I hand wash them so I don't know how well they hold up in the dishwasher. I like that I never have to worry about a leak.

I bought a 4 pack in February 2018 and was so impressed I bought an 8 pack in March 2018. They are the perfect size for lunch boxes and screw caps. what I wanted: very tight. However, earlier this year they began to crack. bowls, no lids. It turns out the shells are thinner than they appear. So now I have a lot of perfectly formed lids and a decreasing number of shells. I would happily pay more for better quality. But I have other plastic storage containers that have lasted ten years or more…

We've been using these for school snacks for a little over a year. I ended up buying more of these. I didn't get any cracks from the original purchase so shipping was fine for us. Since then, some of them have gone bankrupt, but not under the usual adult supervision. (Some of them jumped at school) No critical explosions, just broken edges etc to dispose of. These Rubbermaid containers are definitely expensive compared to some of the other options and I actually ordered a set of Revain's other twist top option (blue tops). These jars were a big disappointment as the threads on the screw caps are small and the jars are difficult to screw on and off.
