it was very cute, cute and well made but definitely for a small dog or puppy - i could barely wear it on my wrist to use it as a nice accent for me wear costume but he was too small for my cocker spaniel

This collar is too tight for small dogs on my 1lb Chihuahua so I would recommend Medium for small dogs. But the quality was EXTREMELY high and the collar was really nice. I bought it for Halloween but wish she had more reasons to wear it!

They should be small/medium which you think would be loose enough for a small dog and fit a medium sized dog right? nope In fact, these are just strips of decorative fabric on a children's hair tie. I could wear it on my wrist but I would never try to put it on my chihuahua because she would get strangled right there. They've been wrapped around a bound book for a few weeks, but they don't stretch enough to be used for their intended purpose. If you buy them, go up a few sizes.
