I knew this could be a gamble given the mixed reviews. Seeing the words Thunder Squirrel instead of Pikachu was pretty funny. Tail and headband were fine. The headband really looked like it was pinned together and hot glued in place. The tail is not bad. Could have been sewn better. All in all not a great product but worth it for a quick cosplay costume.

We bought this item because my daughter wanted to be Pikachu for Halloween so it was part of her costume. There is a loop on the tail, but you need to attach it yourself with a safety pin or other means. It's heavy and tends to sag. The quality of the material was very good and the colors were accurate and vibrant. She liked the rimmed ears and they were very comfortable.

After reading so many bad reviews I was skeptical to buy it but I remembered it was only $10. How are people supposed to complain that something sucks when you paid so little for it? I say mine arrived safely. It wasn't about strength, but there wasn't anything that could be fixed with a little fabric glue, a needle and thread, and common sense. I can't justify giving less than 4 stars because it was delivered as advertised and on time.

The headband was perfect and well padded. Was up all night. The ponytail is bigger than I expected but I'm so glad because it ended up fitting the costume better. I had to add a few loose stitches at the base of the ponytail to secure it to my dress and I simply secured the top of the ponytail to the zipper with the safety pin provided. The padding was coming out of the seams, the stitching was loose and sloppy, patches of superglue had peeled off leaving visible hardened adhesive residue.
