RUFFWEAR Load Harness Medium Slate Review

The harness has been adjusted so my German Shepherd can travel comfortably in the car. When clipped to the seat belt, it gives him some room to move around and sniff the air pouring in through the room at the top of the window.

I have an 85 lb lab and mastiff mix so she's big. I bought size XL. I put it on her and buckled it and she couldn't move. It actually suffocated her. She had no mobility and I know the whole point is to limit movement, but this thing did NOT offer any respite. Also, the small Velcro straps were poorly constructed and flimsy. One of the kids accidentally pulled on it, opened the package and it immediately came loose.

Runs true to size. The straps are padded in just the right places for maximum comfort and safety in an emergency. The large belly padding ensures that your dog feels comfortable when travelling. I liked the reflective belts as an extra safety element outside the car. All buckles are strong and easily adjustable, stitching is straight and strong. Very easy to attach to the car. Exactly what we were looking for!
