After installation, install the 4ft CB antenna as directed. Cruise down the freeway at 65 mph, and once the clamps are fully engaged, it's junk. Do not buy

These brackets are good. But the bracket on the JL/JT is not strong enough to hold most of the antenna. Any left-right movement will severely bend the body panels.

This is a great low profile antenna mount for your Wrangler or Gladiator. Nice and strong, easily attaches to the truck and holds the antenna very tight. Very happy with it.

Absolutely does not fit my 2020 Gladiator as described, neither driver nor passenger. It was expensive and I paid because I needed it. I found a spot on the front of the bed to install it but this is preventing me from installing the topper on my jeep.

The fit and finish of this item is clean. The problem is that it's made for the passenger (right) side of the jeep and is in direct line with the AM/FM radio antenna. Because of this, you can install it in place of the front screw, but it won't sit flat (see photo). If possible, order the block for the driver's side (left) flush and in the right place.

It really was a piece of rubbish. It was weak enough to be bent by hand and just tightening the screw to keep it from moving too much was enough to get the back flexing. They could also touch VHF antennas. I would definitely not recommend. I ended up making myself a real steel antenna with the antenna spaced about 2 inches from the original.
