These brackets will not move your mirrors so you can see out of them with the doors open. You can't see it in the passenger mirror. I assume they are meant to be used without your doors. After contacting several Jeep parts manufacturers, no one makes a bracket that will allow you to use your factory mirrors that slide to the windshield pillar when the doors are open.

Well done but useless when the doors are on. Without doors, they "can" be arranged to work well. but with the doors open, they place the mirrors too far forward without offsetting them far enough out to be fully visible. Also, you need to make sure you have adjustable door straps to keep your doors from constantly banging or bumping into each other. I will look for another alternative.

Should have followed my first impulse and never installed it. The passenger side is so badly fitted that all the paint on the door hinge has peeled off. Mirrors vibrate so much that they are completely useless. When I was in the driver's seat, I didn't even see the passenger mirror. The best thing about this product is the damage it did to my jeep. I wanted to move the side mirrors when my top was off. They're easy to install and work great for what they're designed for. My only issue with them is that with the doors open I can't see the passenger side mirror at all. It's a bit annoying when trying to secure a trailer or choke. With the doors open, everything works great! Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys shooting their doors. Terrible. You really shouldn't get stars. Here are my issues with it: You can't use these mirrors with your doors (do I have to unscrew/reattach if I want to use my windows?) I can't see the passenger side mirror when the windows are closed. The only mirror I see shakes so much when driving that I can't see anything in it. The base of the stock mirror has a cut out where it originally mounted above the door hinge bracket, but this bracket does not mount flush in that area and hangs down leaving a gap between the base of the mirror and the bracket. These brackets move the side mirrors from the door to the windshield frame. They contain all the necessary equipment. My condition requires side mirrors all the time, so if I'm doorless, I need mirrors on my body. I've tried rod mirrors and the vibrations have rendered them useless.
