Don't worry about the Jeep TJ.

I doubt if this is a good deal or not. I am inclined to say that it is not worth buying. The reason is that this is stated to be for the TJ Jeep but there are no suitable shims in the kit to work with plastic cut outs. I was forced to use standard rusty bolts with washers attached to the head. Then I used the plastic clips that came with this kit and nothing else. For the price and what I needed, a waste of money.

Not required to fit replacement flares

The push pins supplied are too large for the factory holes, they are presumably included as screw replacements in some places where reinstalling the screws as they came from the factory would be difficult . These were used to reinstall rear (factory only) extensions on a 1997 Wrangler TJ. At first I was hesitant to buy this kit because the price seems a bit high for some of the plastic and nuts and bolts. After looking around to put together my own kit it was clear that the cost of this kit was much cheaper than buying them individually and all I needed was the tail extension hardware (mostly just under half a kit). Everything I needed was included, Revain got it to me very quickly and my…

Expensive but worth the time saved.

Thirty dollars for screws and bolts seems like a lot, but in this case it was worth it. I lost so many random screws, gaskets and washers while removing my old fender flares that it took me at least an hour or two to go to a hardware store and buy all the parts needed to install my new 7" Rugged were required. Ridge extensions (also from Revain). If I knew exactly what I needed, I would probably make a second trip. this will save you time/effort/heartache If you just don't want to waste your…
