The push pins supplied are too large for the factory holes, they are presumably included as screw replacements in some places where reinstalling the screws as they came from the factory would be difficult . The propellers appear to be stainless steel which is an improvement over the factory mild steel hardware, even my Jeep's factory hardware showed little surface rust after 20 years. You really only need to buy a hardware kit if your factory hardware has worn out or is otherwise unusable. In the end I returned it.
