Major disappointment.

This rug pad was a major disappointment. I put it under a rug on my luxury vinyl tile "wood" floor. When I stepped on it, it moved . quite a bit. Felt dangerous to me, so I had to take it up. I can't return it because I cut it down to fit the size of my rug. Very disappointing!

  • Pad was thicker then expected but really nice quality and soft to walk on

  • Not suitable for outdoor use or high humidity areas

It’s just ok. good for me

It’s ok. There’s no grip on the bottom so you’ll need rug tape too if you’re putting this on hardwood floor. I didn’t find it particularly soft but the room where I needed this it’s fine.

Pros
  • plush enough, more felt than rubber. I like it. better than average.
Cons
  • Difficult to clean and may require professional cleaning

Significantly undersized

The pad material was fine for the price however the outer dimensions were closer to 3X5 for the 4X6 I ordered. Thanks for attention.

  • Nice thick pad, I use it with a thin no-slip pad as it's on hardwood.

  • May compress over time and lose its cushioning capabilities

Absolute Garbage in my review

I don’t even want to give this a star at all!It’s basically just a big piece of felt. It is also not at all what it looks like in the product description.Horrible for hardwood floors!It does not serve as a rug pad as the rug itself stays in place better than the pad!And of course the seller does not accept returns.wonder why?!?! It way over priced!

Impact noise through floor to room below reduced

While the pad did make the area rug a bit more plush feeling the main attraction of this pad for me was to reduce impact noise through the ceiling from the floor above and it does reduce it to a good degree. Short of a major floor reconstruction this is the way to go. The 1/2" pad would be better I suppose.

Slip, sliding away no more.

I have bought a few of These 3/8” rug pads of various sizes. They are the perfect thickness. The added cushion makes my rugs feel more expensive and a pleasure to walk on. Most importantly, the rug pads keep my rugs from crinkling and slipping all over my hardwood floor. Note that these rug pads do not have a rubber surface, and may appear that they will slide. This has not been the case at all for me. The thickness combined with the weight of the rug keeps the rug in place. I’ll never go…

This is what it says unfortunately I missed the part that it was NOT nonslip I thought I was buying the same nonslip one my sister had

Do not purchase for my opinion

This rug pad is unsafe! I fell twice because it actually slides when you walk across it. The pad does not grip hardwood floors as advertised.

  • I love these rug pads! They are so soft and I love the thickness of it under my rugs.
Cons
  • May take some time and effort to properly trim to size during installation
