I didn't expect a cover to fully cover the mattress. I thought it was just a "topper" with elasticated corners. I liked the fit of the mattress pad but not that it wasn't waterproof. My mom has Alzheimer's so I knew incontinence could be a problem. I bought a waterproof cover that was supposed to last 10 years to protect the mattress if this happened. I bought it in March and in August it didn't protect the mattress and my mattress was damaged.

What kind seems obvious. I think it's a little wrinkled? But my kids, none of whom wet the bed, don't seem to mind.
