Both ends broke after 3 weeks of use.

Both ends are broken. The spring broke completely and the claw clips broke at both ends. On the 4th day the cable is kinked. The plastic is usually hard. The cable itself is solid, just bent.

Well made line for wires and pegs

Out of the box strong and flexible. The only consideration is that the locking clips on either end can snag on the collar rings when hooking and releasing, which can be a problem for large or strong dogs. Would buy again.

Durable but good

This time the down is very durable so my dog barely walked at first. She's getting used to it now, but I might be better off downsizing. Otherwise it's perfect. Good carabiners with a lock, it seems that they will be difficult to chew, but my pup did not try.

STILL SO GOOD!: zip ties and stakes

The cable seems pretty strong but I only had about 2 days to make it. I'm a little worried about the carribins or carribiners it comes with. I've had bad experiences with these guys in the past. I have a strong pit bull that likes to pull and I take him to the park. So instead of the cheap carabiners it comes with I bought a strong bull hook carabiner and metal screw lock to attach to a 4ft dog leash with a comfortable grip and I use it as a giant digging leash, I can still walk in the park but

Unreliable: zip ties and pegs

I like a few things about this cable - the bright orange color makes it easy to tell if it's tangled in place or tangled in the distance. The stainless steel spring and clips feel solid and are unlikely to rust. I like the fact that there's a spring so it doesn't choke when it hits the end at breakneck speed. The cable is heavy, holds it in place and doesn't look like it could break or fall apart like the others I've had. However, my Belgian Malinois - an absolute escape master if anything…

More than durable

When I got this I couldn't believe how thick it was. About the size of an orange extension cord - they were close together and I didn't know which was which. My dog has muscles like Popeye and I'm not worried about breaking them. And not only the cable is strong. The metal fasteners and clips are really thick and strong. Many cables on the market are durable, but look for cheap hardware. It's not the cable that fails. It's thick heavy metal. Too heavy for a small dog! This is for dogs over 50…
