It's not ideal for situations like camping where temperatures vary from hot to cool (e.g. camping) but great for Texas (or always warm weather). This is a decent looking, mainly nylon shirt. The material is similar in softness to polyester but smoother I would say.

I really like the fabric, it's nice and cool and feels good on my skin when I'm exercising or lounging at home. The only downside is that on the 3rd wash (I used cold water and a dryer on a hanger) all the reflective strips on the back of the neck came off leaving a sticky residue. So if I think this is one of the reasons you are attracted to this shirt, you might want to reconsider.

Update: 2XL ordered. Much better! Just make sure to order a size up if your goal isn't to show off your body! First rating (1 star): I'm looking for something loose and comfortable. I tried it and it was exactly what I wanted to get away from. Maybe good for short haired guys but not so good for huskies.

I bought 6 of these shirts. I live near Cabo San Lucas in Baja South and it gets very hot and muggy during hurricane season. I love these t-shirts because they absorb sweat and actually feel cool as it evaporates and the sweat isn't visible. Because of this I know they are ideal for active wear. The material stretches a little, the shirts are sewn well. What offer!
