I had a scratch on the hood used at 3 or 4 speeds with a Meguiars 205 mirror glaze with cutting pad roops. Now I can see where I used rupees where there was a scratch. Its my fault . The bottle says to use foam pads. I saw a professional detailer use a cutting pad so I figured this was the way to go. Is there a way to fix this?

This buffer is the best I have ever used. I came to this tool from a world renowned TCP specialty store and was done in a quarter of the time. No vortices, no burns, no holograms. Worth the money if you want to save time. The only complaint I have is that the carbon end is a bit loose, I'll have to take it off and see if I can tighten it up.
