It was a nice idea. and I took my cat with me several times. he coped well. but something scared him and he was able to break free. Luckily he is a very calm cat and I was able to catch him. I'm afraid to use it again :(

I have a 5 month old exotic kitten who weighs 5 pounds and wasn't sure what size (XS or S). I chose the small one and it fits perfectly! Still roomy but safe. This little pendant is just adorable and I love that it has real little pockets on the back. Half of the velcro stitching on the chest was gone so I just sewed it up myself, no big deal. Although this harness is very small my kitty is petite so I just sewed buttons on the neck and chest and it works great! I set it up too. The material is not too thick, which makes it easy to sew on. I bought this for my 13 lb cat. It suits him but he's still a bit wild so I'm worried he'll come loose when we're outside. He has wide Velcro straps, but they don't seem strong enough to stay in place if he decides to run. It also starts at the neck and chest area. Velcro. That's all. This vest style harness is AMAZING! This is the FIRST harness my cat didn't even try to get out of. I tugged at it the first time I put it on and the velcro holds tight. The cat cannot escape him. It should be comfortable because it doesn't move when I put it on. It also looks comfortable. I can run my fingers down his neck and under his arms to make sure it's secure but not too tight.
