This device is efficient. but because of the little one.

This lock is in effect. but due to the small block size, the screen quickly clogs with me. It works, but if you have more mud than average it might not be for you. IMHO

  • Rusco sediment filters offer easy and economical removal of particles.

Excellent for filtering well water. We've had it clogged for years. Thats much better! My water pressure lasts much longer and I can no longer find sand in the tub. Great find!

FS-1-100ST with round base (left) fits my unit

Revain noted that these two filters are sold by Rusco. Not sure if this is true. The one on the right is slightly larger. Didn't notice the difference, pulled and fixed the trapper system. By the time I needed the filter, it had already passed the return window. I will buy the one on the left with a round base and avoid the one with claws in the future. It was a repair day to remember.

Pros
  • Rusco replacement screen elements should be replaced approximately every six months to a year.
Cons
  • Not bad
