Sisal rope 1/4 inch good for beds and furniture

This product arrived very timely. It is of excellent quality. I needed unfinished rope for a project for my cats and this was the only source I could find. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great product for cat owners.

I used this to update my scratching post that my cat destroyed. Now it looks like new and he likes the new rope that he can snap. Or at least try to break it. I glued it to the scratching post with a hot glue gun and it has worked great so far. Definitely recommended for cat owners.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Lots of things

Fixed my scratching post for scratching posts

My cats destroyed their scratching post by tearing the sisal on two posts. It's a year old so it either had to be bandaged or replaced and as only two areas needed replacing I decided to give it a try. I didn't want to spend more than $100 to buy a new one and this sisal rope worked great.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Expandable

Ideal for repairs after a cat castle!

I was looking for a suitable product to fix my cat castle and expected to need it again, so I bought so many yards (also with friends). It was a great price and non-toxic. It's thicker than the rope that came with the lock, but it's fine for a kitty. Good product! Mix Elmer's Glue and water to set it up.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • old

It's durable and there are no shreds of carpet anywhere

Used to wrap a cat perch that used to have carpet on it. used to it since the cats tore it to shreds. They register to scratch this material even more than the carpet. I used a wide head nail to start it, then after so many turns I used liquid nails to hold it in place and then another wide head screw for the base. It holds up great and there are no carpet scraps anywhere.

Pros
  • Hands free work
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Did a great job updating a worn scratch. But the cat hates her.

I like sisal rope but my cat doesn't. The rope was enough to wind up a regular cat scratching post. It was carpeted and worn out from daily scratching. I removed the carpet that was just glued on. Then I simply wrapped the cone-shaped pole with sisal rope. Like I said, literally enough to get the job done. Looks good, clean and fresh. The cat refuses to have anything to do with him. It has been in its usual place for more than a month and arouses no interest. Sisal is not to blame. It worked.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • A few little things

Great for scratching posts

Our scratching post was vandalized by our cats - most of the rope came loose and they clung to the cardboard underneath. I ordered a few rolls of this to fix a tree and it worked great. We covered the existing cardboard tree legs with new cardboard tubes cut into the side, then I used a hot glue gun to attach the rope to it. 2 of these roles took care of the lowest level of the scratching post and I will order 2 more for the upper level. The rope is "raw" - no wax or chemicals that I could…
