🩳 Men's Mesh Shorts with Pockets by Russell Athletic Review

Our 14 year old son is 5'10 and about 142 pounds and we ordered AS. He ran his first half marathon in the pouring rain and completed it in 1 hour 55 minutes and there was no rubbing or sticking in the odd spots and they stayed in place. Would definitely order them again for something sporty.

These shorts have a strange seam on the side. When you wear them and look in the mirror, they look like they have a boot-like seam flared at the bottom. You look very strange. I would not recommend anyone to buy these shorts. Also, they're made of thin mesh and the pockets seem to be in the wrong place. When you put your hands in, they don't feel like you're wearing them backwards or anything. I really don't know how else to explain this.

I don't know why people keep looking through them but they don't. I've tried many brands on Amazon and these are the best I've found. I'm 6ft 0 and most of my height is due to my legs but they fit me exactly how I wanted them - half above the knee without going up when I sit down compared to other brands that do half of my thigh is open when i sit down too fast. Just bought my second pair and I will be getting more colors once I've worn my other existing ones.

These athletic shorts are incredibly comfortable. I would wear them every day if I could. I think I could buy a lot of different colors but unfortunately the price is higher than the sports shorts of that time. Also, they are more comfortable compared to Champion (which I wore for years before trying Russell). Very transparent and thin. Pockets are NOT lined. So they are mesh (holes) on one side of each pocket and a cheap PE liner on the other side of each pocket. It probably won't hold up well.
