If you're trying to decide between these and similar champion shorts, this might help. Both good shorts with same quality. The only difference I see is that the Russell shorts are maybe 1.5 inches longer and feel a little "roomier". I like the length of the Champion shorts while standing, but they get too short for certain exercises. I have a slight preference for Russell shorts, knee length or just below, but perfect for squats or similar exercises.

They are very transparent and thin. Pockets are NOT lined. So they are mesh (holes) on one side of each pocket and a cheap PE liner on the other side of each pocket. It probably won't hold up well.
