Description of ๐Ÿ”’ Enhance Safety with Rust-Oleum 207009 Marine Anti-Slip Additive 1/2-Pint, 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Creates a skid-resistant coating for wood, metal, fiberglass and concrete surfaces when mixed with latex or oil-based paints. Unique pumice material adds slight texture to any interior or exterior surface with a uniform coat. Maintains coverage of applied paint and remains active for lifetime of the coating. Will not change color or performance properties of the paint. Discrete additive promotes safety with anti-slip resistance.

Does not work with deck stain

May work better with paint but not deck stain. After the stain has dried, it can be removed immediately with a handkerchief.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Working speed

Worked VERY WELL for my needs

I have used paint in the base of my shower When it goes smooth and tends to self level the shower the shower itself looks new

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not all fit

That stops! for paint, wall treatment and consumables

When I was painting our deck I was afraid of slipping on it when it got wet because of the slippery surface. Mix this product with a liter of paint and your problem is solved. You can definitely feel it, but walking on it barefoot is uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Good but overpriced compared to others

Worked well and easy to use. We mixed this with paint to cover the entry steps of our fifth wheel. It works great, just expensive compared to other agents I've found since. Works better than adding sand to the paint, but I'd just use sand if I had something to start with.

Perfect for the floor in our shed.

Added the whole can to about a pint of primer I found in the garage to paint the barn floor. The floor was plain plywood and I needed some sort of moisture proofing and slip and fall protection. The result is a great sandy feel, not rocky at all. Really thin but it works.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Fine

Works like a gem, best in Paint & Primer

It was easy to use with paint and I applied it to the steps and first part of my porch as the rain often made those areas slippery and people could slide. The only thing I don't like is that you see it. I've often been asked what damaged my porch! However, the safety of others is more important to me and it offers a very abrasive surface that prevents surface slippage. I will also be using this on the stairs leading to my basement.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
