I hate everything about these shelves, starting with cheap hardware that is pressed rather than welded. Even the screws that came with it were bent. The holes are uneven, some 16" on center, some 16-1/4, etc. It's very annoying to spend hours installing just to align a bit. At least I found out that I don't have an aneurysm, otherwise it would burst today.

I like the way the shelves look but they don't stay perpendicular to the wall. The supplied dowels didn't hold the shelf to the wall and now I can't buy new ones because the hole is too big. I only had about five pounds on my shelf so I know it's not the weight. I still like the look of the shelf but now I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Cool tone color, darker stain which made me nervous as my bathroom has no windows but the color looks great and they are very durable! Definitely a great price for a set of 2 and really good quality wood. My only comment is to add another layer of clear coat to smooth the wood a bit, but that's also something I can add based on personal preference.

This is an amazing floating shelf! This is a REAL tree and its weight proves it! Not from feather-light garbage - real and beautiful! It comes with everything you need to hang it up and it's very easy! I've searched day after day to find a decent shelf in my price range that will last! So I finally found it! I ended up painting it white to blend in with my decor and got lots of compliments!

Looks good when set up except two shelves are strikingly painted in different tones. Installation is a nightmare. I would recommend the manufacturer to come up with another method! The supplied wall plugs proved to be completely useless - I had to install, reinstall and patch several holes in the walls. One shelf was still hanging down because there weren't any bolts where I wanted to place it, and without at least one screw in the bolt, the anchors alone couldn't support the weight of these…

The wood looks great and the finish of the parts looks really good but unfortunately it's not constructed properly. Despite the cleats, the shelves hang forward due to the insufficient length of the mounting bars. The ball I was sitting on the shelf rolled straight to the floor. You can also just put 1/2 screws in the studs, since that's how the mounts are designed, and given the weight of the wood itself (considerable), standard drywall anchors just won't do.
