You need a hammer! suitable for kitchen and dining room

once you see the connection holes you will quickly realize that the key they give is not enough to assemble it. The instructions need to be updated to include the hammer. Also the guide is wrong, he lost it as easy as 1,2,3 and it's not like that. The holes are so small that you have to drive the screw in first. This is exactly the aesthetic I was aiming for, which is why it gets 3 stars, but assembling it is terribly annoying.

Use wood glue! Throw away the equipment.

After reading several reviews on this product that stated this hardware splits wood, I tried wood glue. I had no idea if that would work. I laid all the pieces together, glued them together and left the whole piece on its side under the (slightly) heavier illustrated books for about 24 hours. And now, after about two months, Beas seems to be as good as ever! I highly recommend using wood glue instead of this hardware for this item!

  • Great Price

NOT SOLID WOOD on Kitchen & Dining

Product name says SOLID WOOD. That's so far from the truth. To be honest, at first I thought I had a styrofoam. It was so light and didn't feel like solid wood, it even looked like styrofoam. I think it must be thin hollow wood or some other type of filler. It's definitely not hard wood like they claim. And the dark wood color looks like it's literally been sprayed on. This is not painted wood. Imagine styrofoam, it had that weight and that feel. It felt like I had spray painted Styrofoam. For…

Not bad for the price

I like how it looks. It holds all my wine glasses and sits beautifully on the counter. I am skeptical that this is a solid "wood". It's like cellulose mixed with styrofoam to form a solid. Some. I was also skeptical about the durability, but it holds four bottles of wine and 8 glasses perfectly. Very easy to assemble but I wouldn't use any tool other than the Allen key that came with it. Even then I was afraid of breaking the board or something. Generally a good solution to my glasses storage…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not the best

Non-solid wood works best for shelves and holders

When something is referred to as solid wood, it is implying something solid, such as oak or even its cheaper counterpart, pine. No no. It's more like the cork wood they make baby rockets out of. Not exactly styrofoam, but close to the goal. Assembly was a nightmare. The pre-drilled holes were sloppy and unless you're very careful you'll go straight through. The hex wrench will rip your fingers to pieces when you try to tighten everything, so you can use pliers to hold the hex wrench, just twist

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

TLDR: Beautiful looks, terrible quality, easy to trace and make your own with good materials/wood. swell and break apart. "Wood" looks very cheap. I don't know how "solid wood" can be so light. It looks like the cork tree that these cheap toy airplane sets are made out of. In addition, the base was deformed in the middle, causing the frame to wobble. Over time, it can flatten under the weight of four bottles of wine, but shouldn't buckle in the first place. I was surprised that it seemed pretty

Pros
  • Poorly thought out like everything before
