🚪 RV Designer E233 Plastic Door Holder - T Style, 3-1/2 inch - Colonial White - Entry Door Hardware Review

Mounted on my fifth wheel. The fifth wheel came with "20 mph wind" front door hinges so this door bracket was not included. On a recent trip it turned out that the loops were not rated for 20 mph winds. Easy installation. Transparent weather-resistant silicone used on the back and edges. Too bad it came with matching black screws but I just painted them myself. Looks great and works!

After 6 months of use, one completely collapsed and the other is about to. I live in Florida where the sun is hot and bright and on windy days that plastic door hanger cracks. I recommend the metal I will buy! Don't expect your money on this plastic unless there's wind, sun or heat where you live! They bend and then break.

The plastic does not last long but replaces the original. I will say that occasionally the T-shaped latch slips out and the door swings freely. If you don't install this latch on a perfectly flat surface, you may have trouble with the free-swinging T-bar when driving on the road. It should snap between the plastic clip when not in use. Much luck!

I bought the 3 1/2" white version because the portion of my trailer I mounted it on is white. I wanted the door to be as close to it as possible of the wall so I went with the shorter version.I suggest placing the bracket closer to the bottom of the door so you can still lock it no matter the height of your trailer.I looked where I wanted and marked with a marker.
