Great item, fits my existing holes like a glove and fits perfectly. This was the lowest price I could find anywhere for this item.

Fragile design. My 1986 RV comes fitted with these latches and I'm still not impressed. The quality is ok and they fit the original hole but they are not strong. My advice? Be sure to lubricate the sliding parts with silicone grease or spray and break them in before installing the latch, and then handle them carefully.

We bought a 15 year old camper van with these terribly cheap flimsy latches, most of them broke. Disgusting design, flimsy plastic and worst of all, a huge hole in the door when you take it off. The price is absurd, as is the shipping. That, too, is American garbage. You can't even blame the Chinese for that. I would recommend brass or bronze yacht fittings which will last a lifetime.

Shurlach is a type of closet latch that was in our cabin above the RV. This lock is hard to find, but I found it at Revain. The color matched perfectly. We're in Arizona, and since shurlatches are mostly plastic, they rot faster when they're dry. Book additional services if you need them later. The product was easy to install even for a girl! It locks the cabinet very well so the cabinet doors don't open when moving. The only downside of this product is the plastic issue.
