Fits small

The costume itself has no issues but it definitely fits the small size. I would order one size larger. I have 3-4T that fit my son in 3T and 4T but they barely fit my son. Part of the shirt has a bulging tummy and shorts can be worn but much shorter than you would like.

The shorts are too small

The t-shirt fits my son well. He's usually a size 7, but we've scaled it up and the shirt fits perfectly. But the shorts fit more like underwear. This is a good material to protect against rashes, but very dense and small! He was uncomfortable wearing them so I let my 2 year old keep them. A little disappointed with the shorts but overall the colors are very pretty and my son really liked the shirt so we kept it.

Need to increase the size. The bodice is short and cropped, big around the waist.

Love the look of this. Looks the same as in the photo. My son is slim and tall. So it fits "just fine", the shirt fits, but when my son raises his hands, he immediately rolls over onto his stomach. The shorts fit but the waist is too big. I had to ask my mom to wear them around my waist so he could wear them on water day at school. I ordered a size up based on the reviews. I'm happy because the shirt is short, but I'm also not happy because the shorts are too big.
