These steel wool pads are great for removing stubborn stains, without scratching painted surfaces. Pop up. I have used them to clean: 1. Stubborn stains on painted cardboard. I've tried several other products that claim to clean stove tops but none of them work. I can remove newer stains fairly easily with this product, but older, thicker stains take longer to scrub, but eventually the stain will come off. 2. Great little pads. They last a long time (put in the freezer between uses to prevent rusting between uses). When I finally went out, like many other reviewers, I couldn't find them in my regular grocery stores. I contacted Clorox to find a local supplier. I received a quick and professional response informing me that this product was discontinued. Accordingly, I was very glad that a supply of Revain was still available (six packs is a lot, but should last you a lifetime). I'm adding this review
