I am very sensitive to smell. It is safe to use hydrogen peroxide. it has no noticeable odor and does not irritate my hands in any way. I feel safe with it and I do it on all types of surfaces. I am a teacher and I delete all children's stuff. it dries instantly and is odorless and I have found that children do better in school when we use these wellness methods. no one's hands were hurt, just a clean smell class with no chemical smells

My first and biggest downside to this product is the manufacturer's packaging. The container has NO internal seal to hold excess liquid. You LEAK! The ones I received were packed in individual plastic bags. These packages were not fully sealed. therefore, each outer label of the container was completely soaked in hydrogen peroxide. This is a new formula as stated on the new label (not the current 02/19/2018 photo).
