Pros: Great for stapling on something big. Turkey, chicken, ribs, etc. Holds lots of sauce and is flexible. Comfortable grip. Cons: Too long to fit in most drawers. When a "bristle" is bent, it stays bent. Mine arrived crumpled in a package with the bristles bent. Even after a few uses and two washes in the dishwasher, they still bend. If you need a big pastry brush, this is the winner.

A little worried about the design

This is a good silicone brush for stapling, much better in terms of functionality than the one that broke. It has a good solid grip and lots of bristles and so far I've gotten along fine with it. The bristles have the right combination of stiffness and flexibility. However, I'm a bit concerned because the bristle part of the head (the gray part) doesn't sit flush with the handle. I don't know if this is intentional or if it's a design flaw, but I am concerned that the top may fall off over time

Evenly distribute the sauce

After using fiber brushes for a long time, this is our first plastic brush. I was skeptical. After coming out of the dishwasher's hottest setting unscathed, it has been used on the grill with great success. The bristles pick up sauces easily and keep the sauce even. With light pressure, the bristles press the sauce onto the meat. The sauce distribution seems more even than the fiber distribution. Plastic bristles seem to last longer than fiber bristles. They are convenient to hold and use…

Nice topping for the grill. maybe a little longer.

This is a durable and very handy frying brush that is essential for every grill except hamburgers and hot dogs. I see other reviewers had a few issues. one with an offset top (mine comes loose but snaps back into place. suggests it should work. Possibly a bristle replacement?) and some with curved bristles. Another mentioned that it was long, making it difficult to find a suitable crate. but in this case it MUST be long to use with the grill. To be honest I wouldn't mind if it was 3-5 inches…
