Good, but. in pedals and boots

The pedal is good and obviously useful when driving on city streets. A counterweight is needed to keep the plane from constantly looking down.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Good. Just what you need

Good. It takes a bit of getting used to when you lift off to turn them in the right direction because they are heavy and fall off but work for what I need.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Useless features

High quality pedals

Easy to install: just place the clip on the pedal and push with your foot and the pedal will lock into place. There are small metal parts that provide a really good grip.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not sure

Good product for pedals and cleats

I like them and they work as they should. They're not very easy to put on when you're driving and I wouldn't want to use them for more than a few miles, but they work fine if you're just trying to get somewhere normally. Shoes.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Doesn't hold up good for sports

They interact with elements of Crank Brothers which is good for me. I have two problems: they twist and turn face down, making them difficult to use. Second, they come off when you get off the bike. I use this for a tour bus so it should be fine but I wouldn't trust them on a long trip.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Ideal for use in normal shoes

These are great if you have an SPD mountain bike but sometimes you need to use it as a cruiser. Bought these for trips like Bentonville when I know I need a bike to eat/brewery etc and I need proper shoes. They hold up very well - just don't overdo it with something too sloppy!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors available

Cannot be removed

Yes, they can be removed, but it takes A LOT of work and will hurt. The pedals on my bike are Shimano Ultegra and they have minimal tension, it can take me a long time to get them off and I injure myself more than once doing so. I don't recommend them unless you use them interchangeably with speed pedals.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability by testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Difficult to snap into place but otherwise great quality

I don't think it's your fault my SPDs are hard to snap into place. The only way I've found is to stand on it, which is really difficult as my one-sided pedals tip over. I could try loosening the pedal tension but I like it tight. They are easy to take off though - you can twist them with your hands or with some weight put your foot on them and twist them just like you would your shoes. This also means that you better not twist your foot while riding or they will come loose. I use them on my…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
