IS WORKING! Computer Components

I received my son's used computer. (I bought him a new one) After I set up the old one, the sound went away. I don't hear much on the PC but he wanted it fixed. I ordered this little plug and play device. She came quickly. It was exactly what you would expect in a retail store. (If you're cold, find the store it was in) It's new. It was in a nice new box with all the necessary paperwork. The kit includes a USB cable which I did not need. My son hooked it up. Everything went great the first…

Amazing USB sound card adapter solved my problems! (see note)

Note: The product I received may have been returned due to small scratches and marks on the USB case (see attached images) and you should ALSO NOTE that this has not affected my opinion of the product itself. I bought this as a solution to problems I was having with my new Antlion ModMic of the mic being either too loud, too quiet or the audio being too noisy. (Possibly poor compatibility with motherboard audio). With this USB adapter all this has been fixed, the sound of the microphone is…

It just works and it rocks.

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I have had audio problems with my Shuttle XPC. I've played around with different driver settings, tried what's suggested in various discussion groups, etc. I've played around with this for hours. All I wanted was a simple left/right stereo line out to connect to a pair of powered speakers. I managed to get it working for a while, then turned off my computer to move it and when I restarted the sound was gone again. The control panel always reports that the speakers

WARNING - Low Voltage

WARNING - All of Sabrent's USB audio adapters use a different chip than many years ago. This new chip outputs 3V instead of 5V, so using it with many microphones is extremely quiet in comparison. I do not understand it. It will be hit or miss as it delivers lower performance than it should.

  • Lots of Good Vibes

Works fine but Windows 10 doesn't

At first we thought this device was broken but it worked on our desktops but not our laptop. After LOTS of internet research and troubleshooting that didn't help, we finally figured out that a Windows 10 laptop needs a few more programs to fix Microsoft's default sound drivers. Once installed, this thing worked like a charm. (I'll edit this review if I can confirm the names of these two programs). Okay, the software needed to increase the preamp level on the two laptops I tested (HP Specter and
