Examining the covers, I found that many cover part of the touch part of the remote control. It's not, and it's a huge asset for this cover. Adding a magnet on the back is perfect. All in all, a great way to affordably protect an expensive remote control.

The Apple TV remote control is one of the most irrational things they've ever dreamed up. This case is designed to do just that, eliminating the frustration of slipping your remote or not knowing which is up and which is down. This company owes its existence to Apple's incompetence. Great product and should have bought on day one.

I think whoever created this had the same problem as everyone else. The factory Apple TV remote control is slippery, small and easy to lose. This case excludes all of that. After the purchase it's all gone. In fact, I didn't think of anything other than writing this review. And it would probably be even easier not to lose it if I used the included magnetic strip, but I'm satisfied. Good buy.

This is a nice case/protector for your Apple TV remote control. I think it sucks to have to "protect" something as simple as a remote control, but this is the apple for you. The lid fits well and allows full use of the trackpad and selection buttons. The wrist strap is conveniently placed to prevent the remote control from falling or thrown away while playing. I've dropped my Apple TV remote on a tile floor a few times and it was enough to look for something to protect it. I checked out Revain and found a few similar cases. Slightly annoying, which has more to do with the flawed design of the remote itself, is that the case makes it difficult to access the top corners, which some apps like PS Vue and HBOgo use to rewind/ff 10 seconds.
