Description of 🩹 Areza Medical Sacral Silicone Ultra-Absorbent Foam Dressing 7" X 6.8" - Box of 5: Effective Wound Dressing Solution

Additive Absorption, Extra Comfort, Enhanced Adhesion to Dry Skin, Non-Adherent to Moist Wound. The dressing is waterproof but not shower proof. This means: the liquid does not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid can leak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion. LATEX Test Result: Not Detectable (ASTM D6499-18 Inhibition ELISA). Performed at A2LA Accredited Lab (USA).

This bandage is waterproof

I used this bandage to protect an open wound on my mother's buttocks while she was sitting up. It stays in place and is waterproof. Thanks to medication and bandages, everything went very quickly.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Generally fine, but...

Very good product! for health care

I have bought these several times and they are very helpful in the healing process of bedsores (aka bedsores). I will order more from this seller! Also very fast delivery.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ineffective

practical and safe first aid item

Sticky enough to stay on for days. It doesn't hurt to remove, it doesn't irritate overly sensitive skin. Does a great job of protecting my dad's bruises on his bum (and NO, I'm not going to post that photo lol). It has an extra small piece to protect the tailbone, which is nice.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • No instructions

Highly recommended as the best first aid solution

This is great when used on the sacrum (lower back). Glue is great when the person has diarrhea. Protects "everything" (a cool word) from bed sores. If you're interested in wound healing, you know what I mean. I have spares left over if needed, along with saline and gauze. ****

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Gauze Sacrum Pad

My wife is thin and managed to break her. Since she was in bed so much, I was afraid that she would develop a sacrum decubitus. This bandage reduced her risks and made her more comfortable. The pad has an optimal shape, the adhesive sticks firmly, does not bend at the edges, is waterproof and does not irritate the skin.

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Updates

Right choice! - Gauze

This product is being used to treat coccyx pressure sores that my son developed during a month's hospital stay. During that time he had lost a noticeable amount of weight and there was no fat or padding on the buttocks so this bandage protected the healing area. After a few weeks the area was healing well. This product was the right choice and I recommend it to anyone with this problem.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Faulty

They provide padding and coverage for my mother's bedsores, but are outrageously expensive - about $6 for a band-aid. When using the cream or just going to the toilet, the patch either comes off by itself or has to be removed. They cannot be reapplied for, so more money is made than makes sense. The insurance doesn't cover it either. You may not be taxed on OTC treatment costs. Unfortunately we haven't found a better patch for mom's needs.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • working speed
