Through trial and error, I found that this rug pad slips and slides all over the place, not providing the necessary grip to hold the rug in place. The only positive aspect is its thickness, which adds some cushioning under the rug. Unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the lack of functionality. Save your money and buy a different brand.

Easy to clean - just vacuum. Very durable. Shed or don't shed. The only thing is that it was smaller than I thought. But overall happy with the purchase!

Soft? Of course not. I knew the texture would be pretty rough, the material was originally like that. It's absolutely beautiful, durable, great accent, it's exactly what I expected and was looking for. I love it!
