After looking at the sports gear available at local stores, it seemed flimsy and fragile. Husband decided to build a swing set for his grandchildren and chose these struts for good solid construction. I am sure they will last forever and are safer than other options.

You should not be dissatisfied with this product! Did a little work to create an attachment point for a saucer swing for my nephew. And it is written that the rating is designed for ages from 2 to 10 years old, I'm 49, and this also supported me. Just use treated wood, good swing hardware and playset anchors and you have a swing set.

Assembly was easy except the top beam was too wide to fit the bracket. I had to shorten it a bit. Otherwise these swings together were a delight for my grandchildren! .too small to push myself but small booty to see her smile when i push her.

We really wanted a 3 swing swing and it was perfect. We had to go to the hardware store to get the swing up, but it was pretty easy. We did 4x6x10 and could probably do 4x6x12 to have a little more space between turns. You will need 1/2 x 7 or 8 screws to make the swings and a long 1/2 drill bit that is at least 8 inches long.

Strong and durable. We bought 4x6 pressure treated lumber and it took about 10 minutes to assemble. It had everything we needed to install the mounts so we didn't have to go to the hardware store and waste time or money looking for the right hardware. So far it has withstood rain and wind in New York well. The instructions are so simple that even the most inexperienced person can handle it!

Hard to tell what is better or worse from the pictures but there are at least 4 other sellers selling this item for $60 less. no screws which was a big disappointment considering they advertise "we include all screws and washers so you never have to rush to the hardware store". What a joke. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of purchasing equipment. Can't wait to replace it with ready to play kids and expect it will be a quick 1 hour build. I took a chance because there were no reviews. The product did not come with instructions as stated in the description. Luckily the product was easy to understand, I'd rather take the guesswork out of it. Seems strong and heavy.
